Volunteer with Latin Link
We couldn't do what we do without our incredible, wholehearted volunteers who support our team in Britain and Ireland all year round in a myriad of marvellous ways. Would you consider becoming one of them? Read on to find out the ways in which you could use your gifts to ignite a spark in others.
Have you been away on mission – perhaps a Latin Link Step team or Stride placement – and want to share your experience to encourage others? We have a network of volunteers across Britain and Ireland, inspiring others to step into the story of God’ global mission in a wide variety of ways. We’d love to have you on board!
Our volunteers receive a monthly volunteer update, resources to inspire your church about global mission, and opportunities to connect with Latin Link community online and at local events.
Story Sharer
Story Sharers find ways to share their unique experience of mission, to encourage the next generation. You might speak at your church or CU, represent Latin Link at an event, or record a video interview to be shared on social media. As you share your story of mission, you’ll be encouraging others to start writing their own. The time commitment isn’t big – it’s a flexible role you can fit around your other responsibilities.
Mobiliser
Being a Mobiliser is a slightly bigger commitment, but again is flexible and determined by you. It still includes story sharing, but is more proactive in terms of searching out opportunities to speak, fundraise, start a prayer group, or run an event. Mobilisers will receive further support and training from the Latin Link team and will receive invitations to speak and take part in other mobilisation activities.
Church Link
Church Links connect Latin Link with their church family and share opportunities to step into God’s mission story through praying, giving, going, and more! You might help coordinate speakers for mission services, or act as the point of contact for a Latin Link member the church is supporting. You could run a local prayer group, or actively promote short-term mission opportunities with people in your church.

Volunteer in our office
Latin Link’s office is in Reading. If you’re interested in supporting our staff team by volunteering weekly, monthly, or just occasionally, we’d love to hear from you. There are often ways to help out – whether it’s helping with the digital team, admin support, or giving time to whatever project needs the most help that day!
