Help Lorenzo celebrate with his Llamazing Fundraising Fiesta!
To celebrate the momentous milestone of 40 years of Step teams, Lorenzo the Llama, our fundraising champion, is having a year-long fundraising fiesta! Can you join the fundraising party and help make Lorenzo’s fiesta a fabulous one for the Latin American communities we serve? Lorenzo has drawn up a list of 40 fun fundraisers he would love you to join in with over the coming year. From walking to welly wanging, knitting to kayaking, baking to biking, the challenges have something for everyone! You can find friends to sponsor you to go it alone, or team up with others to do it as a group. If you are a former Stepper, why not reunite your team and get fundraising together? We couldn’t do what we do without the time, prayer, and resources so generously given by the wonderful network faithfully supporting Latin Link’s work year in and year out. Why not prayerfully consider giving financially to enable others to step into the story of God’s mission through Step teams for the next 40 years and beyond? Whether it’s a regular donation of £4 a month, or a one-off gift of £40 or £400, it all makes a huge difference.
Help us celebrate the big 4-0 by spreading the word about Lorenzo’s fundraising fiesta on social media, or in your church or CU newsletters and WhatsApp groups. If you are a former Stepper, Strider, or Stay member, you could share your story of the difference serving on mission has made to your life, and tag others to invite them to join the party! You could set up a prayer group to get others engaged in praying for Latin American mission, or invite a Latin Link speaker to come and share with your church or CU group.

Esther Stansfield, our Head of Mobilisation, recently took on the Great South Run alongside friends to raise money for Latin Link.
With Lorenzo the Llama for moral support, they ran a whopping 10 miles and raised an amazing £750! Thank you!
