This policy applies to both Latin Link and Latin Link International. It was developed collaboratively to reflect the international scope of Latin Link’s work and to ensure accessibility for members serving in Latin America, Spain, Switzerland, and Britain and Ireland.

Please note that the term ‘safeguarding’ was not widely used in Latin America at the time this policy was developed. For this reason, the English equivalent of the Spanish phrase ‘protection of children and adults with care and support needs’ has been used throughout the document.

The policy is reviewed annually by the Latin Link trustees.
