Hi! I’m Lois, a second-year Languages student in Newcastle. In March 2026 I will be part of the team in a social project, Funda Sion, about 5 hours from Bogota, Colombia, working with a large group of children and adolescents in a both an urban and rural community.

They help children with their homework, have English classes, and handicrafts, along with games and social interaction. Through this work, they keep the children off the streets, improve their life skills and exam results. They integrate Christian ethics and teaching in all the activities, along with giving them vision and hope for the future.
