Hi Everyone! My name is Charlotte and I have just finished my A-Levels in 2025. I will be serving for 10 months in Ecuador starting September 2025. After 2 months of language study in Quito, I will be involved in multiple projects in Santo Domingo. I will be volunteering at The Orchid project, in which I will work alongside the other volunteers to help young adults with learning difficulties develop vital life skills such as cooking, housework and gardening. This allows them to live as independently as possible. The members also have regular devotional times where they learn from the Bible. I am really looking forward to sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with them through this project.

I will also be part of a growing mission to share the gospel with the Tsáchila communities surrounding Santo Domingo. As well as helping run Sunday school sessions for the children at the regular gathering that has been set up, I will also have the opportunity to teach English in a local secondary school.

I am very excited about this opportunity, and would greatly appreciate any prayer or financial support that you would be willing to give.

Please pray that I would rely on God’s strength and provision throughout this placement. Please also pray that God would give me the wisdom and the confidence to share the gospel with those in Ecuador, especially due to the language barrier.
