Abel is originally from China. He became a Christian when he studied in the UK as an international student.

He then trained in cross-cultural mission at All Nations Christian College. Having been on a Step team to Argentina in Summer 2022, Abel feels God calls him to work in Latin America as a missionary. He hopes to do the Stride program for 2 years in Latin America.
