Emily Ross's Step misson 2026
My name is Emily, and in March 2026 I will be heading to Colombia for four months with Latin Link!
I will be working with a team of other volunteers to serve a church in Latin America in many different ways.
The first two months will be spent in Northern Colombia, in the city of Barranquilla. We will be leading Christian summer camps to help youth grow in their faith, as well as volunteering with partner organisations such as Christian schools, Soccer ministry, Moms Group and Conversation Clubs.
The last two months will be spent in Maicao, La Guajira (northeastern Colombia). This will involve us assisting in the ministries of a local church, including children’s and youth ministry, sports activities and a
construction project. More specifically, we will be helping teach the Bible and English in a local school, as well as participating in outreach trips.
I can’t wait to see God at work in people’s lives in a very different environment to the one I’m used to, and I hope to come away with an even GREATER love for God and his people than before!!
