Summary:

  • Where: Santo Domingo, Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas, Ecuador. West of Quito. Tropic and warm. Population roughly 460,000

 

  • Who: ‘Centro Cristiana Nueva Vida Unión Cívica’, which is one of six church plants out of a large, main church nearer the centre of the city. Team will be made up of people from Britain and Ireland, as well as people from across Latin America.

 

  • What: working alongside the local church to advance their construction on a new plot of land as well as taking part in evangelistic activities to connect with the local community.
    • Evangelism – Particularly to children and young people, e.g. through running kids clubs
    • Construction: Helping to finish the construction of the new church building, including building classrooms for the children and youth work to take part in
    • Ministries: Get involved in other ministries of the church, such as Sunday services and youth groups
  • Context: Church has recently moved to a new plot of land and so is constructing a new building to meet in.

 

  • When: Rough dates 3rd – 24th July 2023

 

  • Summary: This is an exciting opportunity to experience serving God alongside different people from different countries and cultures and experience a taste of God’s worldwide family on mission.
