Sam Huckett's Step - March 2026
Hi I’m Sam and I am joining a team of young Christians with a passion for serving and following Jesus by volunteering in South America with Latin Link from March this year.
For the first two months (out of 4) of my time in South America, our team of volunteers will be joining forces with Campfire Colombia and Iglesia Comunidad PAS to support the running of their Christian youth camps and help out with all the youth activities going on at the church. We will be based in Barranquilla in the north of Colombia but will be travelling out to each of the camp locations. I hope to really connect with some of the young people there and be able to tell them about how Jesus has made a huge impact in my life and how they can meet him and build a lifechanging relationship with him too.
For the second two months of my trip, I will be in Medellin. I am yet to receive specific details about the work in Medellin but we will be partnering with local churches on a range of projects and ministries there.
