Alotenango Project
The Alotenango Project (Asociación Esperanza de Vida) is based in San Juan Alotenango, Guatemala.
The association provides education to children and adolescents in vulnerable situations (such as poverty, living in single-parent households, those abandoned by their families).
They provide alphabetisation, pre-primary, and primary education, and their services include reaching those children and young people who have not attended school. The aim is to reduce the school dropout rate and combat illiteracy in those children who might otherwise not have access to education/
