What’s your most memorable moment from Step?
From my first step team, my most memorable moment is when at the end of our project, we teamed up with the church and put on a big community evangelistic event in the countryside where we had been working. Over 90 people came and the church then continued to do these events monthly after we had left. From my second step team, the most memorable moment was the goodbye! Because even just after 3 short weeks, we had been able to connect so deeply with the church and they sent us off with so much love and appreciation, and we realised all that God had done.

What’s your most memorable moment from Step?
Praying with grandmothers behind a church building for the young people of their town to meet Christ, and understanding that we were partnering in a much bigger work of God than what we were doing. There were so many incredible and hilarious moments, but this one stands out for its spiritual power.

What’s your most memorable moment from Step?
So many! There are loads but one really privileged moment was watching about 8 of the teenagers from the Bolivian church get baptised in the river, and that was also on a weekend away in the jungle which was so beautiful.

What’s your most memorable moment from Step?
I can’t choose just one! Being with the team throughout, including all the highs and lows, getting to know the local church members and serving joyfully alongside them all.
